Your suit isn’t just for the office. This timeless and classic attire is versatile. For example, a suit can easily be transformed into a casual outfit for an evening out, or a formal ensemble for special occasion. All you need are a few items and a couple of minutes to dress up, or dress down as needed. Here's how:

A Night Out with Friends

It’s Friday night and you’re meeting some friends after work for dinner and cocktails. Instead of heading home and wasting valuable time, pack your favorite jeans, fun heels, and a chunky bold necklace. That’s all you need to transform your workwear into something fun and funky in seconds.

Here’s how to pull it off. Underneath your professional blouse, wear an undershirt that can make a statement and shows a bit of skin. When it’s quitting time, ditch the blouse but keep the blazer. Then swap out your bottoms for your jeans and change the shoes.

That bold necklace will look amazing against your skin as it’ll be framed by your jacket. Don’t forget to let your hair down and apply a touch more makeup to take your look from day to night.

A Hot Date

All you need for this transformation is a sexy blouse, weather permitting, your favorite heels, some pretty hair clips, and some drop earrings. The day of the date wear your suit with a pencil skirt. Bring a small purse along to carry your necessities.

When it’s time to change your look, take off the blazer and your work blouse and pull on your extra top instead. If the blouse is on the long side, tuck it in. But if you’re brave enough to wear a shorter shirt that might show your middle, leave it untucked.

Glam up your look with drop earrings and use your hair clips to tie your hair back and show off the beauty of your face, which will also give you a slimming effect. Touch up your makeup and give yourself a kissable pout before you head out.

To See a Game

Maybe you’re planning to catch a game with friends. Or perhaps you’ll be cheering on your little ones at a game of their own. Either way, your suit can accommodate with some small adjustments.

On this day you’ll need to wear your pants, cropped pants would work well here, and a solid colored blouse that buttons up. You might need a tote bag for snacks, water, and other necessities. For now, use it to pack a pair of flat shoes, a t-shirt in your team’s colors, a hair tie, and sunglasses or baseball cap.

When it’s game time take off your blazer and change your shoes. Wear the t-shirt underneath your unbuttoned and untucked blouse and roll up the sleeves to just below the elbow. Put your hair up in a ponytail and add the sunglasses or cap. Now you’re ready to cheer your team to victory!

To A Wedding

A suit lends itself very well to a wedding, or other special occasion, as long as you wear the right pieces. This is not the place for cropped pants or skirts on the short side. If you’re opting for pants you can choose between regular or wide leg. If a skirt is your preference, go with a pencil skirt which has a longer hemline but fancy feel.

You will need to pack a flashy blouse, high heels, and evening bag. You will also need eye catching earrings and a necklace.

On the big day you will keep your suit intact. Simply switch your blouse and shoes but leave the blazer and your choice of pants or skirt. Sleek your hair back into a low pony tail for a striking, sophisticated look and add a bit of sparkle with the jewelry. Be a bit bolder with your makeup to balance your bling and take your look from day to night.
